Day 1: First day shopping
On the first day, I would recommend checking into your accommodation and heading to The Mall at Millenia. The mall itself is amazing, and right next to it, there is a Target. You can check shopping off your list and head to Target to buy any food, snacks or drinks you would like to have in your room or in your park bag.
That night, you can have dinner at the Disney's Contemporary Resort with Mickey and other characters. If you plan it right, you can even watch the fireworks show and get the excitement flowing for your next day.
Day 2: Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom
Start your first park day with a delicious breakfast at either Boma - African Flavors at the Animal Kingdom Lodge or 'Ohana located in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (Character Dining). Reservations for both dining options are required and can be made 60 days in advance. This will get you in an adventurous mood, the perfect time to head to Animal Kingdom.
Once you arrive at Animal Kingdom, head to your left and do the Avatar attractions first; the later it gets, the longer the wait times for these new attractions.
The perfect itinerary for Animal Kingdom would be:
Pandora - The World of Avatar
Africa
(Great photo opportunity in the middle of these two)Asia
Dinoland U.S.A
Discovery Island
I strongly recommend buying the Lightning Lane option, and if you are hoping to visit another park, it is a better deal to buy the Multi-Park Option.
After you finish exploring Animal Kingdom, and if you bought the Park Hopper Tickets, I would head to Magic Kingdom.
In Magic Kingdom, there are a few new attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and TRON Lightcycle Run. For TRON, I would recommend using the Virtual Queue.
Stay until late to experience the parade and the fireworks show from the front row. If you want to save a good spot but are also hungry, you can always order food with the Mobile Pick-up Option and have one member of the group pick up the food. You can have a small picnic in Disney with Cinderella Castle as a view.
Day 3: Universal Studios for a Disney break
Need a break after a long day of Disney's Magic? Head to Universal Studios!
Start your Universal Studios Day with Minion Mayhem for a playful experience, followed by the adrenaline-pumping Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Immerse yourself in the magical Diagon Alley, including the thrilling Escape from Gringotts ride. Take the Hogwarts Express to Islands of Adventure, exploring Hogsmeade's attractions and dining at the Three Broomsticks.
Continue the adventure with the highly anticipated VelociCoaster in Jurassic World. Enjoy other attractions and make your way back towards the entrance. Wrap up the day with a satisfying meal at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe. Depending on the season, catch a show in Harry Potter's Hogwarts Castle for a magical finale.
Day 4: Hollywood Studios & Epcot
Embark on a super fun day starting at Hollywood Studios with the magic of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Ride the cool Toy Story Mania! and both Star Wars attractions for an epic time. Grab a quick and tasty lunch at Woody's Lunch Box before feeling the excitement on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Hop on the Skyliner for amazing views as you head to Epcot. Explore England and Canada, then jump into the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride. Make your way around the World Showcase, ending in France. Keep the adventure going with a spin on the new Ratatouille: The Adventure ride.
To make your day even more awesome, think about getting the Lightning Lane, especially for Hollywood Studios. It helps you skip lines and have more time for fun! Epcot also hosts festivals throughout the year, so looking up special items and treats is a nice plus. Finish your day with a spectacular nighttime show like Harmonious or Epcot Forever, making memories you'll cherish from Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Day 5: Departure
Goodbye Disney 😢 Today, you check out and head to the airport. If you are staying in a Disney Hotel, you can schedule an airport shuttle at the front desk! I strongly recommend leaving for the airport with plenty of time; it gets busy really quick, especially at the security lines!
